1. Taking a sample
Apply drops of sample to the prism surface with a plastic spoon or pipette.

1) Apply a drop of sample to the prism surface with a plastic spoon or pipette. Make sure the sample is spread over the prism evenly when closing the daylight plate.
2) Look through the eyepiece. Read the boundary line where the blue and the white color meet. This is the Brix (%).
3. Example for measurement value
● Being able to measure the concentration of noodle soup is useful when adding water, especially in regards to the type of soup. There are various kinds of noodle soups, each of which feature a different taste and combination of ingredients.
